Go there because the owner keeps it classic old school and the staff is great. Crab Rangoon and Hot and Sour soup are great but chinese needs more flavor.

Looking for a local place on Easter Sunday that is open and serving can be a challenge. Found China Moon in Ankeny, IA. open for lunch and dinner in a strip mall on SE Oralabor Rd. Ordered the to go dinner special of egg drop soup, crab rangoon, Hawaiin shrimp and fried rice. Not only was the meal hot, it was also delicious. Will definitely come back!

China Moon has excellent Chinese food options at an affordable price. I highly recommend the Dinner for 2, or 3, or 4, depending on your party size. You can mix and match similar items. The value is fantastic, and the food is delicious. Service was excellent, and seating is comfortable. I thoroughly enjoy this food option in my area and intend to return soon.

Best chinese food delivery in the area. Food taste tends to vary a little from order to order, but it's always good and a dish generally leaves enough for two servings. The woman who usually delivers is lovely, I feel bad for not knowing her name, but I no joke miss when she used to yell at the door upon delivering. I hope someone didn't complain about that because it was legit part of the experience to us :u One of the rare places that doesn't just outsource their delivery to DoorDash or something as well so I give them some props for that.

This restaurant was never our original plan.. but I am so glad we pulled in. The staff was so cool, my son actually was feeling car sick and they were very accommodating. Then we sat at a family style table behind a larger than life Buddha with the large lazy susan for sharing dishes. We ordered dinner for six and all dishes were excellent especially the China Moon Delight. It was one of our favorite places on the trip.

Always good food and very fast service for lunch. In and out in 30 minutes. Update: It's still extremely fast service, and food quality (and quantity) has remained consistent. It's a great value with a crab Rangoon and soup included with the lunch entrees. The hot and sour soup is amazing.

It's very good. I order from here often and am very fond of the entire staff . I would like more vegetables in all this dishes but the flavor is excellent and huge portions.

Super cute little restaurant with soooo many options. I was glad we stopped for lunch today. Super reasonable prices, too! Food was fresh and came to our table super fast. I will definitely be back!!
